Hostelworld: Hostel Travel App App Reviews

The app works quite well but I still cannot login to my account on the app.

This app is soooo super useful for all travelers and backpackers out there!

Maybe dont log me out every time? Maybe, once logged in, remember all my information, otherwise why did I login or even download this app?

Not entirely helpful if you have an existing booking and need info. Logs you out everytime you close the app. No integration with native mapping applications, doesnt let you leave reviews, cant open hostel details from Account page - you have to do a new search which is a total waste of time. That being said, other than feature limitations it is a well made app, havent run into any glitches. Just not enough options to make it worth it unless youre only looking for price comparisons or new hostels.

this app is simple yet effective for those with an interest in finding the best cheap hostels. It contains high quality images and features, provides informative content, and makes it easy for people to look at some great deals, highly recommended.

This app is great except for one problem: sometimes it is incredibly slow. Sometimes when I put in information and click search, it just loads and loads...but other than that this app has been very helpful. A must-have for backpackers.

This app is only capable of searching hostels and hotels as well as make future bookings. Everything else is junk. Constant in app "500 error" codes. Nothing works. Stick to the website. To view your current booking or past bookings you need to use your browser.

I used to love the app, but now I cant even sign onto it. A pop-up keeps telling me theres something wrong with the server.

I love how easy it is to use! The reviews & pictures make choosing a hostel fast & simple. But I am confused on booking. Upon first entering the app, there is an option as to how many guests (I would have 2). Upon booking at a specific hostel, I am asked to select the number of beds. Do I have to choose 2 beds or is it possible to share one double bed without having to get a private room?

Good app to book and review hostels. However, when I try to log in with my password, the app will ask for my password over and over again. Youll know this happens when the screen flickers and asks you for your password after you entered it.

The Hostelworld App keeps requesting me to log into my AppleId account. I cannot use the Hostelworld app at all on my iPhone. However, the online version works great and the platform is a relatively good one.

Ive been booking all my hostels for my Euro trip through this app and its been working great, no complaints!

Ive been using Hostelworld to research and book all my hostels as Im travelling through Europe, and this app makes my life SO much easier. With just a couple of taps I can secure a great place to sleep, hang out and meet new people - all on my iPhone while I am on the go. Ive had no issues with the app at all.

What happened to all the detail about the hostels? There used to be useful info about location and what was offered written by the hostels themselves. Now there is just a few lines of generic policies. My hostel world experience has completely changed. :(

This App was great now its terrible. I cant see anything when I click for info on the hostels its blank. I keep going back to safari to use the desktop version. Fix please!

Ive travelled Asia, NZ, Australia, and South America with he help of this ap. Never fails me. Very accurate depictions of each hostel :)

This app did a great job of combining all the important information travellers want to know about budget accommodations in an easy-to-access format. I used it throughout my 6 week trip and it definitely made finding a place to see really simple!

Glitches and crashes constantly. I couldnt even set up an account without it crashing. A total waste of time.

Used hostel world a couple times. Every trip has been super easy and safe. Every place weve stayed through them has been awesome.
