Very convenient app. I book as I travel , no fuss , easy to use. If you like to stay at hostels , this is your app.

Loved using this app, thought it was easy to find a hostel, tons of reviews, and really liked the large images when I searched.

this is a must-have if you are backpacking, very helpful and most of the reviews by your fellow travelers are pretty accurate!

This app is my first stop when searching for places to stay on the road. It has excellent filtering, good review system, and easy payment (especially when youre on the go in a bus or something). It has saved us lots of time and money while traveling through Europe, S Africa, and SE Asia. My one gripe is that the Wish List feature (the heart icon) does not seem to function at all, making it difficult to go back and find a place youd looked at before. It never shows my lists and if I enter the same name twice it says it exists, but wont show it to me. If this got fixed it would be 5-stars no problem.

They stole from me $500!!! The customer service is the worst!! They barely speaks English! The customer service is from China !!! Nobody knows anything!! I made a reservation a month ago and never got a confirmation email! And regardless they took $500 from my bank account! The hostel( Miami Bikini Hostel) took $500 for the reservation and hostel world never sent me the confirmation number! I had call more than 5 times and wrote more than 10 emails and they easily gave my bank info to the hostel and I was stolled more than $500 and nobody answers!! They are the worst!! Dont trust them!!!!

I use this app when ever I travel. It very useful.

I used this APP when traveling Asia for 7 months in 2014-2015 without one problem. Now I am trying it out in Europe in March. I highly recommend trying the HostelWorld App.

Such a helpful app to have on the go. Simple, clean interface yet robust in features. Incredibly well executed

I cant tell you how many times I showed up to a country and needed a place to stay then used Hostelworld to book a hostel while 30mins away. Clutch! Also,if you need to cancel its so transferrable and easy to maneuver around. I salute to this app!

Works great! Love that it gives me directions of where the hostels are. Easy layout!

Overall I am pleased with the app. The flow and access and layout is nice. The only reason Im giving it three stars is because the wish list does not work on the iPhone at least. I Wish it did work because it would organize my preferences when I return to Cities or when I am reviewing the city ahead of time. When you select the heart you are not able to select a previously created a wish list it shows blank and when you type in the city again for the wish list it tells you youve already created this wish list and wont let you add. Finally, it would be nice to have a filter for private and dorms. Adding onto recommendations would be nice to have an Apple Pay thumbprint payment option. They do have a PayPal payment option which is nice because you dont have to pay an international credit card payment charge, however half the time the PayPal charge does not work, please fix.

Simple, yet powerful giving all the relevant details about the stay you are looking for.

This is the only app I use for traveling and booking hostels! Easy to use, and provides tons of info to compare prices, distance, reviews, etc on different hostels.
